Data is used to run the app, generate plans, show profiles, personalize content, maintain security, and provide support.

1Data controller
Wandarly acts as data controller for personal data processed through the Wandarly app and related web pages. Privacy and data requests can be sent to support@wandarly.com.
2Personal data processed
Processed data may include email address, user ID, Apple or Google provider information, name or display name, optional profile details, profile photo, cover image, hometown, birth date, gender, follower and following counts, comments, likes, saved items, language preference, device and app information, notification token, searched destinations, saved itineraries, event-based planning preferences, and support requests.
3Purposes of processing
Wandarly processes this data to create and maintain your account, show your profile in the app, store photos in the correct sizes, restore saved content and itineraries, operate followers and comments, send notifications, provide content in your selected language, start AI-assisted planning flows, show map and location information, protect the service, analyze errors, and respond to support requests.
4Legal grounds
Processing may rely on account and service performance, legal obligations, establishment or protection of rights, legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, and consent where required. Where required by applicable laws (such as GDPR or KVKK), we rely on your explicit consent for processing precise location data and utilizing AI-assisted personalized itinerary planning features.
5Transfers
Data may be shared only as needed with hosting, database, authentication, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, notification, map, AI, translation, email, and support service providers. Lawful requests from authorized public bodies may also be answered.
6Retention and deletion
Personal data is kept only for as long as needed to provide the relevant feature and comply with legal retention duties. You can initiate your account and data deletion request at any time directly through the Settings/Profile menu inside the Wandarly mobile application, or by visiting our dedicated deletion page at https://wandarly.com/deleteaccount. Upon receiving your request, your personal data, saved items, and itineraries will be permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days. When an account is deleted, profile, saved items, and account-linked data are deleted, anonymized, or made inaccessible within applicable technical and legal periods.
7Your rights
Users may exercise applicable rights such as access, correction, deletion, objection, and other privacy rights by contacting support@wandarly.com. Wandarly may request additional information to verify the account before completing a request.
